What is Udorse?
Udorse is a new type of picture game where your endorsements unlock exclusive rewards. For you, and your friends.
It’s part social network, part game, part rewards program, part photo sharing site, part discovery platform; Which is to say, probably like nothing you’ve ever seen before :-)
Most importantly, Udorse is a fun way for you to put the power of your pictures to work for you and your friends. Become a part of our new community and help make “udorse” the word of the year for 2010.
Why should I Udorse?
It’s probably the most fun and easy way to share your pictures online. Bonus: You can meet cool new people and discover cool new things by doing it. Extra Bonus: you score points, badges, and even have a chance at offline rewards such as discounts and freebies when you udorse hotwords.
What is a hotword?
Hotwords can be brands, places, things, products, people, restaurants, bars, and so on—anything that’s in your pic! Hotwords are the key to unlocking elite rewards and bonus points on Udorse.
Whoever Udorses a hotword the most earns The Exclusive status for that hotword.
What’s The Exclusive?
Whoever has udorsed a hotword the most in their pictures owns The Exclusive for that hotword. For example, if you’re the person who’s udorsed ‘sunglasses’ the most, you own The Exclusive for ‘sunglasses’!
You also automatically achieve The Exclusive status when you add a new Hotword to the Udorse system buy clicking the ‘Make it HOT’ button when you’re udorsing a pic.
As The Exclusive holder your picture is featured in the left column of the hotword page so everyone can see your status!
Additionally, Exclusive status gives you and your friends first dibs on rewards for that hotword. Udorse is adding amazing new rewards every day, and owning Exclusives is your ticket to snagging them!
You can steal The Exclusive away from someone by out-udorsing them… But remember, they can steal it back from you too. So, keep udorsing!
What can I Udorse?
Whatever you want that’s in your picture or related to it. You are in control.
What if I can’t think of anything good to Udorse?
We have a daily challenge each day to help inspire your udorsements! These challenges appear on Udorse.com, and soon you can also sign up to receive them via email or as a notification on your iPhone if you’ve installed the Udorse App!
What is a red hotword?
Each day there’s a special red hotword. Udorsing it unlocks red hot rewards.
How do the points work?
You can keep track of your points status and level on Udorse by checking the Status Bar on your Udorsement page, or the Rewards feed.
One day soon, you’ll be able to exchange your Udorse points for points in your favorite loyalty programs, airline frequent flyer programs, and even for virtual game credits. Stay tuned!
What other type of rewards do I get on Udorse?
In addition to limited edition badges, we are adding new types of rewards every day. Past rewards have included up to 65% off on online stores, shopping spree giveaweays.
Does Udorse make money off the links in my pictures?
No. Udorse is NOT an affiliate program or advertising program. The links on udorse are NOT affiliate links and you are in control of the link that is published with each of your udorsements.
Do I still own my pictures after I Udorse them?
Yes, different from many other social networking sites, you always own your pictures on Udorse.
Who can see my Udorsements?
Udorsements are public. You can always delete specific Udorsements by logging in and selecting “Udorsements” from the navigation panel.
How can I increase my level on Udorse?
By adding new udorsements, following people, inviting friends to join, commenting and riffing on other udorsements; there are lots of fun ways to increase your Udorse level!
Is it possible to get a real endorsement deal through Udorse?
Yes! Udorse is committed to democratizing endorsement deals… If you reach the “Icon” level on Udorse, you’ll have the opportunity to be considered for real endorsement deal opportunities with organizations and businesses you’re passionate about.
What if I see something that’s incorrectly tagged in a Udorsement?
Flag it and we will check it out.
Will you sell my information to companies without my consent?
No. On Udorse, you control what you share.
What if I want to Udorse something but am not in front of my computer?
You can Udorse-on-the-go by downloading our iPhone app. If you don’t have an iPhone, simply email the pic you want to Udorse from any mobile device to the custom address listed on your settings page. Put your Udorsement text in the subject line of your e-mail, and mark #hotwords with a # in front, like twitter hashtags.
Where is your iPhone app? I can’t find it in the app store.

I’m a designer, artist, musician, or small business owner. How can Udorse help me?
